As an atheist you must believe “in the beginning Dirt created the heavens and the earth” or that nothing created everything. Logic does not support these arguments because you have not observed this in the universe or demonstrated it through experiment. Chaos does not create order. Where does this logic come from? In other words, [...]

Evolutionary faith in modern terms can be understood by considering your computer. Let’s say you carefully deconstruct it in a perfect climate and lay interacting components down right next to each other. For the sake of argument, the pieces last forever and they’re covered with a sticky goo to help them stay together. Even with [...]

Reproduction works perfectly with mitosis, so… Why are there two sexes? Isn’t it more beneficial to reproduce by splitting in halves? This would increase the species’ chances of survival. Where did organisms come up with the idea and capability of creating unique sexes? Where did they learn how to create embryos? Circulation and respiration had [...]

Birds have a unique adaptation that allows them to fly. This feature is believed to have been a leg or arm at one time that developed into a wing over millions of years. Here are my questions: What benefit did this appendage provide while it was transforming from a leg to a nub and finally [...]

Acts 2:7-8
(7) And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not these who speak all Galileans?
(8) And how do we each hear in our own dialect in which we were born?

We found ourselves on a hazy two-lane highway. Our only sources of light were dangerously close headlights and a sticky fog drenched in moonlight. My faith in teenage invincibility reduced every fear to a mere concern, so silent prayers kept me at ease. Steve, on the other hand, was terrified and surprisingly cried out to God. He was a self-professed agnostic and refused to believe in a God who cared about the little people.

When I ask atheists where life came from, they believe “in the beginning Dirt created the heavens and the earth” with the assumption that dirt is eternal. Logic does not support this argument because we’ve never observed randomness create order.

Soul Winning may take the form of “Street Evangelism,” “Missionary Work,” “Foreign Missions, “tract dissemination, “Christian Literature,” “personal testimony,” “role modeling,” “Helps Ministry,” “a soup kitchen,” “political activism,” “after-school tutoring,” or a sincere prayer. Yet, none of these initiatives constitute Soul Winning in and of themselves.

Readiness begins when you understand you never will be. If you could make yourself ready you’d approach the throne of God through your own works. This would be the root of your pride and possibly lead to a second rebellion in heaven.

In addition, Jesus claims to forgive sins in the synoptics, and that’s something only God can do. Jesus accepts prayer and worship. Jesus says, ‘Whoever acknowledges me, I will acknowledge before my Father in heaven.’ Final judgment is based on one’s reaction to – whom? This mere human being? No, that would be a very arrogant claim. Final judgment is based on one’s reaction to Jesus as God.
